GARUGAKU. II ~Lucky Stars~ (ガル学。II 〜Lucky Stars〜) is an anime and the 2nd season of GaruGaku. The characters are based on the LDH girl group, Lucky2. It aired through Oha Suta every week day from January 10, 2022 till March 18th, 2022
Story[]
Set a few years after Girls2 legendary live “Tsunagu Tsunagu” at the Girls Arena, the challenge of girls aiming for the top begins again. To enter St. Girls Square Academy, there is a training studio called “GaruSt” where many girls go. At one of the GaruSt’s, 6 girls gather at the Harajuku Takeshita Street studio. Their name is “Lucky2”. It’s a story of growth, brilliance and appeal as they unite. They aim to pass the audition to get into St. Girls Square Academy. 6 small lights create a new miracle!
Production[]
A 2nd season of GaruGaku was announced on September 29, 2021 with its logo being first revealed on November 20. The season was then fully revealed on December 1, revealing the main visual, characters, cast and production team. Lucky2 were also announced to play its main characters, with the addition of Subaru Kimura (Ohast host) and Riho Sugiyama.
The show was confirmed to air from Monday to Friday every week from January 10, 2022, unlike its predecessor which only aired on Mondays. The episodes that air on Ohasuta are placed together at the end of the week to create a full episode.

- This will mark the 3rd time Subaru Kimura has been involved in GaruGaku. Making his first appearance in Girls Garden and collaborating with Girls2 for its opening theme.
- He is also the host of TV show the anime will air on.
- Mikoto Nakai who voiced Rina's mom (Rieko Yamaguchi), also voiced in the first season of GaruGaku as A.I Ran.
- As explained by Chino in episode 4, the title of the series “Lucky Stars” and group name “Lucky2”, is derived from the star clusters “Pleiades”.
